One Commandment Corp. has successfully housed their first candidate for the beginning of the month of November—before the cold weather sets in!

Because of generous donors and their donations, not only were we able to secure housing, provide financial support to get her housed, we we able to get her employed with a good wage—because as we know, decent wage is a direct line to sustainable, safe housing, especially for single women.

Because of the generosity of donors; OCC, is able to take care of her security deposit and first month of rent, along with providing a few necessary essentials to start her off with a fresh start, e.g., scrubs & crocs for her new job.

Our candidate, before connecting with OCC, was sleeping in her storage unit in DC. But she is now safely and comfortably housed.

She's now at home!
